Love, one of the most beautiful feelings in the world. This is the feeling we are actually born with but as soon as we grow up we just start defining it as a love for our crush or our to-be life partner.
How many of you are fed up with coming up with a different word to define your feeling towards a person?

and what not we say to give a clear idea about our feelings for people around us.
Okay, then what was that you experienced while you passed your high school and you started to experience those butterflies in your stomach, looking at your crush, some of us even proposed those colleagues.

Well, let me tell you, Greeks have already solved this mystery by defining 9 different kinds of love we could experience or read from romantic novels.

Let's begin our journey for the apt title for our love and I am pretty sure in the end you will also be able to give the right title to your feelings about your close ones and new people who entered your life a few days ago.
According to Greeks, there is a different definition of physically attracted love or sexual love. We can call it eros.
As per Greeks, Eros was a mischievous God of passion and fertility, who used to shoot arrows in the heart of people and even the deities. It used to make them feel an instantaneous inclination towards each other. This inclination can be interpreted as love.
However, it was just a physical attraction, which is quite common in our generation. Nowadays, it's pretty difficult to know the difference between love and lust because Bollywood has shown us a concept known as love at first sight and we are so much into this, we forget love is not a one-sight process.You can only get physically attracted to someone by looking at the person but not in true and deeper love.
In polarity to the erotic nature of eros, philia is spiritual love.
Philia, a love for family and friends. This type of love can never be overwhelming and it is not always an exciting love. This love brings together more responsibility and a fulfilling attitude.
So, next time, you want to say about true love then don't just give long definitions to explain, name it as philia.
The best part of this love is when both eros and philia are combined it becomes the highest form of love between a married couple. The love between our parents is a right combination of philia and eros.
Storge or an antidote of eros.
The love we can also refer to as devoted love. We have often heard about Mira who was in devotional love with Lord Krishna. Storge love can also be said as one-sided love.
In addition to this, many of us might have also experienced a strong feeling about someone but were not dare enough to confess it to the person due to some reasons. This love is refered to as storge or we can say as devoted love, the love we can say as the purest form of one-sided love.

Pragma, the most essential form of love for a relationship to work. This is the mature love that we feel during our serious relationship. One of the best qualities of this love is we make choices of our career which are good for both of us, not just for ourselves. We can call it the last love of our life which majorly turns into a marriage and maybe sometimes not, because of the issues created by society and the families.
Pragma being a kind love that makes people career oriented so as to spend life which is beautiful and lovable sometimes under pressure also leads to making sacrifices for each other so that the person can live a life which parents have forced them to choose. The biggest problem that leads to the destruction of 4 life at a time.
Parents and our society must understand that there is a thing called love above every caste, creed, and religion.
Let's have a look at Ludus, which somewhere depends upon people, the way they turn this. Ludus is also known as playful love. If on one hand, we are having Pragma, the mature and sacrificial love, on the other side we have Ludus the playful part of love.
In addition to being playful like flirting, seducing, and teasing a part of this love there can be another side also that shows up caring at times of the breakdown of another partner which makes it the best combination of a relationship. On one hand, where we are having fun, casual sex, flirting, and seducing there is also care being a mutual love.
If Ludus is one-sided it is selfish love and won't be a long-term love but if it is mutual and both the partners are having same understanding of each other then for sure this will be the last longing and also an interesting love. Ludus along with pragma becomes the evergreen kind of love in a relationship.
When someone is stalking you out of their one-sided love, what you name that person stupid, idiot, and what not. But what will you name this love? 
Well, I have an answer for you, for such possessive love we name it as Mania or Manic. Mania can lead to several issues such as anxiety and even depression. This love soon turns into obsession and is also referred to as an obsessed love, which might lead to jealousy and emotional breakdowns along with this when not accepted it may also result in a toxic life full of disturbance and unbalancing.
This is also sexual and hedonistic like Eros and Ludus but in a few circumstances can also be like philia and pragma, leading a person sometimes to the happiest life and maybe sometimes to a devastating life and never healing wounds life long.
We love arranging something special for our loved ones and majorly for our partners out of love, what will you name this love..., Is it care? Is it a way to express love?
Well, yes you are right it is the care and a way to express our love towards them but what to say exactly instead of giving explanations? So this form of love as per Greeks as "Meraki".
When someone has love towards their passion be it sketching, singing, composing music or it can be painting, cooking or decorating the room for our loved ones.

We have been listening to these words for a long as soon as we gather the courage to come up and say love yourself first then we will be able to love anyone else. When we start loving ourselves, we start understanding the thin line difference between narcissism and self-love also called Philautia as per Greeks. It is necessary to understand that self-love has not been generated cause of selfies and social media but it has long been in existence since 350 B.C. from the times of Greeks' existence.

In these modern times, when everyone is so busy chasing partners and then many times getting humiliated because of their different looks, I would say nobody can make you feel inferior, without your consent. It is us who cannot appreciate others' beauty, without criticizing our own. STOP DOING THIS TO YOU.

The least selfish and most unconditional love form. When it comes to existing in society this love is a must. We are the kind of species made by God who needs to depend on each other to prosper and live happily. This love comes into existence when somewhere we start to get humble, stop expecting something back, and try to be a giver and not just a receiver. As talking about self-love, we need to understand this love is an add-on to it. It makes it easier for us to accept ourselves and move forward with positivity by accepting ourselves and making us free from expectations. If we can hurt anyone with our words, we can also heal people with words. We are the ones who can decide what we want to do. No one can make us up to that only we have it in our own hands. This was all about love, not complete but as much as possible.
Which one you can exactly relate to?
Greek was one of the intelligent and most beautiful languages of the ancient period. Nowadays, it is easy to fall in love, but it is difficult to keep loving the same person every day, and not only this we find it difficult to express love after a certain period of time. To get each other's attention, we start ignoring each other.
